Ahhhh...Sookie Sookie now! LMAO! Ya I can't believe I just said that either. But really I can't help but flip over this book. First off I wanna be 100% up front and say I will probably put spoilers in this review b/c I don't wanna hold back how excited that I am so past this short paragraph...just don't read anymore b/c you WILL be informed about this story and it WILL ruin your Sookie experience! ;op~

OOOOMMMMGGGG!!! How long have we waited for a real relationship to blossom between Sookie and Eric. I KNOW like 90% of readers are TEAM ERIC and are pee-their-pants excited that FINALLY we got some foundation going on. Sure Sookie SAYS that the relationship is still undefined BUT how can she when she tells him that hes the only one until she decides the blood bond is the only thing between them?!?! Ya they bump uglies and its WONDERFUL! It remind me when they first had sex and he bit her inner thigh...that is ABOVE ALL my fav vamp biting scene in any book out there! lol What can I say I totally adore Eric. How can you not love their relationship. Its taken a while for them to get to really know one another, you find out so much about Eric past...I mean he had kids, a wife and even find out his maker was his lover...HELLO! ;op I think the fact that its taken Eric and Sook so long to get together that it makes their relationship even more special. Everyone has waited for this reunion and *sigh...I can NOW die happily! OH WAIT THERE IS MORE...so basically Eric and Sookie are kinda married!!! Eric "has to do this" in order to protect Sookie from the people who would take her away and use her. Hey he may have tricked her into this but we all know deep down shes totally fine with it right?!?!

Ok on side notes...

Sook's great-grandfather tells Sookie she is in danger from his enemy that wants to separate the fae world and earth. Sookie dodges a few life and death situations and we even get to see the series start to get a bit darker when Sookie actually gets tortured...thing is...BILL SAVES HER! Yup hes SO still hung up on her but honestly I really don't think it sways her that much. I think that she feels for him b/c of their past and the fact that he popped the Stackhouse cherry but thats about it.

ALSO- Jason (Sookies bro) has a best friend that has turned gay without anyone seeming to notice. He smacks around Crystal (remember her and Jason are separated still b/c shes a whore that cheated on him...hello everyone knows Jason's a hottie panther...how could she?!?!). He though he killed her and b4 he could get rid of the body someone steals it, sticks her on a cross like a crusifiction (*eye roll) and leaves her at Merlottes...whatever no big loss but I was sad to see Mel get ripped apart b/c he killed Crystal.

Lets see what else happened. OH well so the war between the Fae's ended with Sookie, Bill and Eric getting hurt but surviving. And the sad part is Sook's gret-grandfather tells her he was going to shut the portal between the two worlds anyways?!?! WTH?!?! lmao...ok so a few dead bodies later he decides the guy is KIND right?!?! Whatever! Jason and her great-grandfather kinda have a somewhat touching moment and b4 he leaves he tells Sookie the vampire loves her...but we don't find out who he means. I refuse to believe its anyone else but Eric! ;o)

Lastly you get a smidget of Quinn...I have to admit my heart kind aches for him...not as much as it does for Eric but still I felt so bad when he tried to talk to Sookie and she kinda wasn't having it and then Bill shows up and they fight! Sookie gets knocked out and wakes up with Eric tending to her. I think thats not the last we will hear of Quinn but who knows!

Ok this is my Snib Bit and the reason I choose this one is because I think this part is kinda crucial on the Eric and Sookie revaluation. :o)

Alrighty so did I ruin enough of the book for you?!?! Sorry...I have to apologize b/c I KNOW I sat here and rambled but you know when your so excited you try to get it all out in one breath...well thats kind what I did. I loved this book I just wish it was longer! :o)

How flippin' adorable is this book?

Ok Sam is a single mother of three. Her ex hubby left her right after she found out she was pregnant with her 3rd...he claimed he was gay?!?!? Yowza! lol She is a hairstylist who is struggling to keep her family afloat. Jack is a 'play boy politician' who's bad rep just might not get him his chair as the new Senator. Trying to play down his image his PR rep hires a reluctant Sam to play house and pretend she is his fiance. But when the charades start to get hot-n-heavy it all becomes a little TOO real for Jack and Sam...problem is...they like it! ;op~ But things go wrong when a crazy ex of Jacks threatens to bust up this fake engagement! Will Jack win the election? Will Sam risk her heart?

Sam- Really...have you HEARD of birth control lady?!?! LMAO! Just kidding! I really liked Sam in this book. She was extremely strong. Being a mother of 3 and making ends meet by doing WHATEVER it took. I loved watching her with her kids. Her youngest seemed to be her biggest struggle. Dakota (my fav kid) was potty training but failing miserably. Actually one of my fav parts was when Sam was fighting with Dakotas daycare b/c he wasn't trained yet. See they wanted him kicked out b/c apparently you gotta be potty trained before you start school. Well the day care owner tells Sam that Dakota is behind in his "Sphincter Management" and Sam tells her to basically go eff herself! lol omg Sam is a little hot head and NO ONE messes with her kids. I love how when Sam and Jack start to get REALLY involved together its like she is realizing her inner woman. Jack makes her feel sexy and wanted and together they are partners in life.

This brings me to Jack...one of my fav things about Jack is that before all this happened he was your typical play boy. He used to play sports and that got him the ladies and now hes one sexy politician that you just cant say no to. When he sees Sam for the first time he actually falls out of his chair! lol I cant EVEN count how many times he called her cute in his head...her cute ass, her cute hair, her cute smile...etc. When he has his first kiss with Sam he falls...and falls hard. It seems his entire life gets turned around and he only has eyes for HER and more importantly her kids! Next is his terms of endearment. I love when my hubby calls me his little pet names: baby, sweetie, love etc. And Jack is full of them in this book. He is never afraid to show his love for Sam and I find that SUPER SEXY!

Ok my biggest hang up in this book isn't a big one...but kinda weighed me down a bit. I understand a man who can cry...show his feelings. BUT when this man cries 4 TIMES...yes I counted...4 TIMES in one book I say that's a bit over the top. Come on...hes a play boy. They are normally cocky ya know?!?! Why have the man crying at every corner. I understand him meeting Sam was like opening a door, opening a part if him that has never been able to let out...BUT that doesn't mean it has to OPEN the flood gates! LMAO! Ok so please...cry less ok?!?! ;op~

Snib bit~

"I wanna eat you up," Jack murmured inside her ear, just as his hands began to spread her thighs apart. Sam gasped as she saw him sink to his knees in the shower. He looked up at her from his kneeling position and gave her a wicked grin. "Open up for me, Sam."
"Oh God". She was already shaking and he hadn't even done anything but talk to her and touch her legs. She was no match for Indiana's answer to Casanova. And when his fingers grazed the tender juncture of her inner thigh she gasped.
"I wont hurt you, baby." He whispered.
"Mommy change me now!"
Jack and Sam went still. Jack looked horrified. Sam mouthed a curse word and put her fingers over his lips to urge Jack to be quiet. Opening the shower door Dakota peered up at her and frowned, and Sam saw he was wearing his usual attire-a Bob the Builder T-shirt and not much else.
"Change me now and don't forget the wipes!"

LOL! See this book is seriously funny. It has so much family dynamics in it that it made me want a little family of my own! :*) BUT as much cutesy moments that are in it...there are 2x as many hot ones. Go get this book you WILL NOT be sorry!

...MAN someone make me feel better. Ok Ive NEVER NOT finished a book before so I'm gonna make this quick.

Ok just to dish on the points I got to that I didn't like...The concept of the book sounded like JUST what I wanted to read. Ive never read SA so I was really excited when I got this book. It sat on my shelf for the perfect time...I wanted a light/funny/sexy read...what anyone would want in a contemp romance...but what I got was unfortunately (for me) just an attempt.

The characters weren't very great at all.

You have Sam...he is a bounty hunter/ex military guy whos partner got hurt and now he blames it on himself so hes trying to buy this lodge for them to have...idk. Kinda a weak background there. Then you have Catherine...the school teacher who is everything her family is not. Straight laced and sophisticated. Her sis's name is Kaylee and she is a wild child! She is the reason Cat ends up getting arrested by Sam. Sam comes to apprehend "Kaylee" but gets her twin instead. Sam and Cat spend time getting back to Florida on a Greyhound bus...Cat trys to get away plenty of times and you can tell SA attempted at these parts to be funny. Now dont get me wrong the idea was there but I felt it didnt get pulled off. Oh and in the mean time some mob guy is trying to kill Kaylee but also has the wrong twin so Cat is having to watch her back abotu that too!

Basically I found myself bored and plainly just waiting for SOMETHING to happen. I REALLY dont recommend this book to anyone BUT I will say this is one of her older books so MAYBE shes gotten better...HEY if she has PLEASE tell me b/c I actually happen to have another one of her books called Be My Baby and im a bit nervous to pick it up.

Ok so needless to say I couldn't go past 135pgs! Sorry guys...I guess better luck next time?!?!

I finally got my post up (its right below so don't 4get to comment ;o) of Lover Awakened! Man what a great little story! Well I say little but it's far from little. The series is really moving along great. However I am a bit nervous b/c Ive gotten warnings about it going down hill :o/

True Blood - Release Me (Season 2, Epi 7)

Breezing Through news...I'm reading Vampire Diaries - The Awakening & The Struggle right now and I'll soon be working on a review with Ames to do a buddy review! So far Ive fully read The Awakening and I think I like it. It was slow at first but I think it was the author introducing everything and by the end I was really into it. Now it wasn't like Twilight...not as mature BUT still a good read so far. I cant wait for the show...me, Ames and Wena and I forget who else are all planning on watching it together! It starts up Sept 10th on the CW so set your DVR's! Its basically about two vamp brothers who are in love with the same girl...oh did I mention one is good and one is EVIL?!?! :o)

More news...Michaels b-day is next week (20th) he will be 29! :o) We are all going out to eat this weekend to a Hibatchi place to have Japanese food! Yummy! :o) Ill make sure to get some pix up maybe next week!

OMG I think this is my favorite BDB out there...or at least SO FAR!

OK Zasdist...*sigh...what a wounded soul! First off he was stolen from his family at like 7mths old, then he was a blood slave and was totally used...being tied down, sex being forced upon him...he never knew TRUE love. His twin brother Phury found him and saved him from his horrible life that broke him. Bella was totally transfixed by Z from the first time she met him. He shunned her from the beginning which makes her shoot back even more! Z feels hes unworthy of Bellas love b/c of the slave he used to be but Bella sees Z in a different light. Bella is able to break through and reach into his soul bringing out the man (well not really a man hehe) that she knew was deep inside.

I love that Bella is already a vamp and is a totally strong heroin. I was talking with a friend and out all the few heroins in the BDB books I love the vamp girls! ;o) They totally stand their ground with the males. Even when Bella was captured she seemed to be able to compose herself and not crack. She was a very selfless character and she might hold the place of my fav girl in these books so far! :o)

Another story that was intertwined was John Mathew/Wellsie/Tohr...wow just as I was getting used to the "family" feel of the three they all get ripped apart. YES THIS IS A SPOILER but I think its impossible to ignore! I am SO upset that Wellsie dies. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! Poor John FINALLY gets a mother figure and she gets murdered. I have to admit I totally cried when Tohr and John found out and to make matter worse Tohr LEAVES JOHN. Now I understand that hes upset...who isn't BUT I felt that Tohr knew how upset John was and it was so selfish to leave him. I love Tohr and Johns relationship b/c as the book was going they really got close and then Wellsie dies and it was like Tohr was so blinded that he forgot he had other priorities. :o/ So ya I seriously wasn't happy about that! So furthermore my Snib Bit will be about John and Tohr.

Snib Bit~

"My brother," Wrath said. There was a helpless tone to his voice, one totally at odds with his fierce face.
Tohr moaned and grabbed at his sternum, rubbing in fast, desperate circles. "You...can't all be here. Not all of you." He put one hand up. Except there was nowhere to go. He banged against a file cabinet. "Wrath, don't...my lord, please, don't...oh, God. Don't say it. Don't tell me..."
"I'm sorry..."
Tohr started to rock back and forth, arms going around his middle as if he were going to throw up. His short breaths went in so fast he began to hiccup, and he didn't seem to exhale at all.
John burst into tears. He didn't mean to. A big hand pulled him up out of the chair and he was held against a chest, he thought it was one of the Brothers. But it was Tohr. Tohr was holding him hard, clinging. The male started to murmur like crazy, his words fast and incomprehensible until they finally coalesced into some kind of meaning. "Why wasn't I called? Wrath it was...the baby, right?
"Get the boy out of here." Wrath commanded.

Ok so I really enjoyed this book. It REALLY pulled at your heart and if you havent read it you should give it a try!

Like yall know I LOVE JC! She did not disappoint in this book! This book was predictably cute! BUT b/c it was predictable it got a mark off. Don't get me wrong...predictable can be great at times...like your favorite pair of jeans its just I think I wanted something different this time around.

One thing I liked about this book was that Kate really went for what she wanted in life. THEN when she ever realizes the problem with her master plan she takes control once again to fix it! YES it does take some convincing from her friend but in the end she goes straight for what she wants in life! :o)

I really enjoyed the banter between Kate and Jake! They were so funny teasing each other all the time. Jake found it amusing that she was there to find a husband...little did he know that bonding with her during her hunt would leave them closer than ever! Another thing that always cracked me up how he went fishing in the boat with Kate every morning and complained about how she couldn't shut her mouth! lol He wanted his peace and quiet! ;o)

Like I said...this book was predictable...High powered woman comes to small town, meets easy going man, man teaches woman how to relax, they fall in love, woman has to choose between the two different lives. (Wow I kinda described Instant Gratification didn't I?) Regardless it's a cute quick read. You wouldn't be sorry if you picked this one up. :o)

Alrighty...this is my very first erotica book! lol I have to admit it does it's job by getting you all sex crazed! ;o) But however I have to compare it to chocolate cake...DAMN GOOD and yummy BUT you truly couldn't eat it everyday.

The Colter brothers have a family tradition of sharing a wife. They didn't think they ever find the right gal but when Adam goes out one night and finds Holly laid in the snow barely breathing he felt a reaction that he knew she was the one. Getting used to pleasing three men wasn't something Holly was used to but looking in the faces of these men, she knew she was safe and finally at a place she could call home. That is until her husband comes looking for her with murder in his eye!

This book is FILLED with all sorts of sexual experiences. I loved all the brothers and their different personalities...Hooly however KINDA got on my nerves! lol But above all I did actually kinda like it. It was different and I was worried that it being an Erotica it wouldn't have a story line. It had one...one that kinda took back seat until the end but it was there none the less! lol I'd recommend this book if your in a sex slump in your books! ;o) Go get it! You won't be as appalled as you might think!

How adorable is this book?!? Dani went to college with Carter and has always had a crush on him! Carter signs Dani up for a workout contest at their work and soon they find themselves spending more and more time together. Carter walks in on Dani doing her workout routine one night and notices there is NOTHING with steps or weights...it actually involves her taking clothes OFF! ;o) Needless to say Dani and Carter find themselves in an interesting position. Is a few nights of how sex worth risking a lifetime of friendship?

Besides feeling rushed with this book I actually thought it was cute...short but cute! The friendship between Carter and Dani is classic. You've seen stories like this before (or at least I know I have) and its very predictable HOWEVER it was still an amusing read that took only a few hours! So if its a Sunday and your looking for a cute quick read pick this one up! You won't regret it! :o)

At first meeting Mary seemed to bring out the monster within Rhage but they soon find out that Mary alone holds the power to tame his wild beast. Finding this out the only obstacle to overcome would be the one that not even the powerful brotherhood could fight. Mary has a life threatening disease...Leukemia!

Man this was a really good book! I know everyone is like "Enjoy them while you can, they loose their appeal" BUT so far I can't seem to shake these books off my mind. I know this is only the second book but I wish you could see how its almost impossible for me to put the book down! lol

Rhage is an awesome character...first off Ill admit I normally grow towards hero's with dark hair (seems more alluring) BUT how can you not love Rhage. Blond hair...muscles...huge dragon tattoo on his back and might I mention the hottest of the brothers...mmm mmm gooood! ;op Rhage is cursed with his dragon and in order to tame it he has to either have sex or fight which you can go ahead and assume when Mary gets into the picture the 'sex' part becomes a huge problem. But she tries to tell herself it doesn't matter b/c hes not hers.

Mary is one strong chick! Your heart wrenches for her from the beginning of the story. You find out her mother dies of cancer and Mary too has just found out hers has come back. Mary finds herself in the midst of the BDB with a troubled teen John and her vampire neighbor Bella. Bella senses that John is close to the change of a vampire so she need to get hi to safety to the brotherhood. Getting to the mansion fro the first time Mary wonders off and meets Rhage. From the vary beginning he is enthralled by her and her beautiful voice. After she has left the mansion he makes it his business to see to her and find out just who she is.

The love between Rhage and Mary was so special and I totally love how he knew from the start that she was special and he wanted to take care of her. I can't tell you how my heart ached when he sensed her cancer and said "oh Mary"...he knew and his heart ached...therefore so did mine :*( This was a great story of love unexpectedly found. Rhage never thought he would be able to have someone so close b/c of his fear of hurting them with his beast. And Mary never thought she would allow someone so into her heart. After watching her mother die she never wanted to put a loved one through the heartache.

One thing that did bother though, and a reason I took off some marks is that I honestly get bored reading about the lessers. Not when they fight the brotherhood, that part if exciting but when Mr. O or Mr. X are doing their duties building stuff or yelling at each other...*eye roll...I could really do without that. Not to mention nothing even came of it in this book. I understand that I guess they are building their "army" and everything that goes along with it to kick some BDB butt but honestly I try to skim those parts. Oh and not to mention one thing that ticked me off was that Bella gets captured and they don't get her back by the ending...ok...well I read the beginning of the next book and it started off with "after we got Bella back"...wtf...you aren't even going to elaborate. Ok...whatever!

Snib Bit~

"Would you like me to get you something to eat?" Mary asked.
He looked up for a moment stunned. "I would love it if you would feed me. Thank you."
"I wasn't sure what you'd like," she later said.
"I love it."
"You haven't tasted the-"
"You made it. That's enough."
"Mary?"
"Hm?"
"I would feed you now." As he spoke, his stomach let out a howl.
"That's okay. I'll get something for myself...Ah, why are you frowning like that?"
He rubbed his eyebrows, as if ironing out his expression. "Sorry. You couldn't know."
"Know what?"
"Where I come from, when a male offers to feed a female from his hand, it is a way of showing respect. Respect and...affection." He brought the plate a little closer and tore off a corner of the toast. Then he cut a perfect square out of the omelet and placed it on top. "Mary, eat from my hand. Take from me."
He leaned forward, extending his long arm. His teal eyes were hypnotic, calling her, pulling her forward, opening her mouth. As she put her lips around the food she had cooked for him, he growled in approval. And after she swallowed, he came toward her again, another piece of toast suspended between his fingertips.
"Shouldn't you have something?" she said.
"Not until you are full."
"What if I eat it all?"
"Nothing would please me more than to know you are well fed."
"Mary eat from me."

WOOWEE! See thats one thing I love about the BDB...shoot Were's, Vamps etc. they are different...I don't see MY husband doing this stuff! lol They have different ways of respecting and honoring their "females". ;op
