This is my first official Lauren Dane book! =) It came highly recommended by Ames over at Thrifty Reader. Ok this is why Amy and I are BFF...the girl KNOWS ME! lol This book rocked my world! Its a hot sexy read that you'll finish in one sexy sitting! ;)

Ok so Caitlin and Eamon met 4 years back at his dads pub in Ireland. Caitlin was in school for being a lawyer and went abroad for the summer. The two her hot and heavy yet light with their relationship while their time together. All ended fine and they parted.

4 years later they run into each other in Seattle where Cat now lives. Things quickly heat up and the two fall right back into where they left...back into bed! lol But things seem different this time...both are more mature and a bit more into their own lives.

Obviously the two end up having a long distant relationship that actually seems to work for them! On both sides of their fences they are getting pushed...Eamon to commit and Cat to un-commit her heart! Both go back and forth between about a year and a half or so and when Cat's graduation comes forward shes faced with deciding if she wants to commit herself and her heart to this one man.

She does...does he???

This is was SOOOO GOOOOD! The obvious...did you hear me up there...Eamon...Irish...HELLO SEXY ACCENT! I swear when he talked I heard his voice flew off the pages...ok or ebook! lol ;) Eamon was hot & sexy! He totally knew what Cat wanted at all times whether it was in the bed or out in real life! He was such a hot little flirt but when it came to Cat he held her on high! =)

Cat...poor girl ran after a guy and held off her career for years then got cheated on. Therefore shes held herself back so much in her love life. Being with Eamon is a big step for her on every level. And now that shes done with school shes got to decide if she will throw it all away and uproot herself once again for a guy! She has issues with that as Eamon does with leaving his business in LA! =/

If you need a hot and steamy little read pick this one up PRONTO! I finished it within a few short hours! =)

Her door beckoned, bright gleaming red. She unlocked it and waved him inside, locking up behind herself.

Eamon filled her small entryway with more than just his physical presence. His heat, his vitality took up every inch of the place, sliding over her skin, seeping into her pores. The man was potent. Caitlin hesitated, unable to remember if he’d always been so. She seemed to recall his sexuality had been more casual, playful. Then again, hers had too. Four years had been a lifetime for her. In that time he’d lost his father and had taken on a new life’s path. That would change anyone, deepen their focus. It worked on him, she decided after taking a long look.

He put his bag down—he’d told her earlier it contained his camera—and hung his coat up before taking hers.
“I like it here,” he murmured, drawing her into the main room. “I don’t suppose I’d have imagined you in a room with these deep purples and golds. And yet, looking at you now, here, it works. It’s regal.” He stood in front of her, the bed only steps away. He drew the backs of his fingers down her cheek and she relaxed.

She knew this man, he knew her. Everything would be fine.

“You still with me, Cat?”

She reached down and grabbed the hem of her shirt, pulling it up and off, tossing it on the chair behind her. Releasing the clip that held most of her hair, she sent it cascading down her back and shoulders.

“Yes. You?”

“Good Lord, you’re beautiful.” He bent his body, dipping his head to brush his lips across her bare shoulder briefly.

“Would you like a beer or a glass of wine? It’s a bit chilly, I thought I’d start a fire before we got naked.”

“I approve of your priorities. What sort of beer and or wine do you have?”

“Take your sweater off first. I want to see you. Or part of you for now.” Caitlin realized her voice had shifted lower, into a sort of purr. It had been a while since sex had been more than a perfunctory meeting of a need. A long while since she’d truly felt sexual, especially sexy herself. Perhaps it was that he represented a part of herself she’d lost.

“Pleased to oblige you.” His sweater joined her shirt and she sighed happily. His upper body was beautiful. Hard but not bulked. Just the right amount of muscle. She was unwilling to stop herself from sliding her palms across his pecs, delighting in the way they jumped at her caress. Just the right amount of hair on his chest, lovely, flat nipples she remembered were very sensitive.

How could someone not TOTALLY do back flips over this book??? I hate to say this but this review will probably be all squealing like a school girl! lol So needless to say if you havent read this book yet STOP NOW! lol Surely there will be ***SPOILERS***

Ok we open up pretty much in the same place we left off at...Seth still engaged to Maddie, Georgina is living with Roman and still questioning if he still wants to kill her and all of us feeling HIGH AND DRY! ;p

It seems like Georgie is always at the pit of evil...bad things are always after her and in the book she doesnt get a break! Something Something evil is trying to capture her...something related to her past! Once again her and her friends gather together to try and figure out the mystery. When Georgie gets taken over one too many times her luck runs out and she gets captured! Now its up to her friends to figure out where exactly she is! ~ The cool thing about this aspect of the book was during her being captured. You relive her past...not quite knowing if it is real or fake. The dreams she had were heart wrenching at times...you see stuff you wanted to happen and stuff you fear will happen! Either way it got your emotions rolling!

SPEAKING OF EMOTIONS...

SQUEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG...ok ok Im calm now...*sigh...FINALLY! Finally Georgia gives the heck in! Ok so Seth ends up breaking it off with Maddie (THANK YOU JESUS) and him and Georgie get together. Its hard for Georgie to make the decision to take from his soul and have sex with him but overall she realizes that they love each other and its the only way they can ever be happy together! At first when Seth and Georgie get together she realizes that Seth has changed and in my head I was thinking (as she walked away for another time) you know what...GOOD b/c he isnt the innocent guy we all loved BUT from her walking away he "wakes up" and does and about face!

In the mean while Roman has totally fallen for Georgie again and I have to say that I wanted them to be together. I love Seth...REALLY love Seth but there is something about the way the Roman looks at her and cares for her *sigh...see I was TOTALLY on the fence with these boys! Ok sad part...when Georgie decides to get BACK together AGAIN with Seth she going to walk out the door and who comes through...Roman! Let me tell you when he looked at her and realized she was going for Seth I ABOUT DIED! I was happy for her and Seth but sad for her and Roman! lol Cant we just have a Roman/Seth sandwich? lol

Oh one last thing that has to be sad...WOW on Maddie finding out about Seth and Georgie! I mean YIPES! But then again I was totally glad b/c I actually feel like I can breathe while reading the book now! lol Its like things are getting cleared up! BUT thats sad in itself b/c that means things are coming to an end. I actually think that the next book is the last :*( Ok I dont wanna event think of that right now!

Ok food for thought...what do yall think about the whole...problems with her contract thingy. Im thinking/hoping that they find a problem and shes able to get out of it and be a human again!!! EPP! Wouldnt that be awesome?

Ok it would be stupid for me to go about this review trying to persuade you to buy into this series...why you ask...welll....b/c most of you already have! And if you havent, well youve probably been living under a rock. Nalini Singh has done nothing but once again amaze me with her writing! She makes you laugh, cry and get all hot and bothered while forcing you to sit at the edge of your seat! This book in no way is an exception!

In this book we get more into Mercys storyline...weve all wondered (along with Mercy) if she would ever fall into a mans arms...AND heart. Mercy was beginning to give up all hope in the matter until one day in the woods she runs along her annoyingly yet very handsome fellow changeling Riley. Riley is a part of the SnowDancer pack (you remember his sis is Bree and was once abducted but now is back and mated with ex-Psy Judd). Both are at odds with eachother most the time but once Mercy starts to act like a cat in heat Riley takes control...

One problem...Mercy is a dominant cat and doesnt appreciate Riley's acts of possessiveness. But when people (once again) start coming up missing in their territory they are forced together to fix the situation. Will the two be able to get along long enough to find the missing? Will that one day in the woods repeat itself?...I think the question is...when two dominants go head to head...who do YOU think will end up on top?!?!?!

Apart from Slave to Sensation (book 1...the first book in a series always hold a special place in my heart lol) this was my favorite book in the series! I love that we get changeling with changeling! No Psy lovin (that hasnt already happened) in this book. Which brings me to another thing I love...we always get too see our favorite couples in each book! I love that I still feel connected with the whole pack. And if you think about it NS thought this out well...they are all a part of a pack therefore they should all remain in each book. Afterall they are all a part of one big family. Oh and spoiler...SOMEONE GETS PREGGERS!!! WOOT WOOT!

I think the biggest issue in this book had to (at first) be the issue of "race". I guess you could call it that lol Riley is a wolf and Mercy a cat. Each belong to a different pack therefore if they ever mated the more dominant one would remain and the other would break apart and join the other. The problem is that both are high in ranks in the pack and basically BLEED their loyalties to Lucas and Hawk. So both are not only fighting their feelings for one another but also their feelings towards their pack...who will leave their pack??? READ AND FIND OUT! Lol

Another thing I must mention is the MAJOR plot with the Psy/Human/Changeling etc...boy is that story building! I honestly get a bit confused at times about who is doing what but mostly im all there! lol I love how NS has built this world...nto only built this world but built in in war times! Its beining to sound like its gonna be every race fro themselves! I cant wait to see what happens next!

One last thing. Hawk and Riley are very close. They grew up together and now Hawk is Rileys leader...well so they were talking about Riley and his need for Mercy and Hawks need came into view...he has a dang thing for Sienna! I mean I THOUGHT he did but this book totally outted it fro us and now Im all itchy to see whats gonna happen! Sienna had to get away from the pack so shes staying with Lucas and Sascha for now...BUT it looks like by the end of the book her and another kitty cat are getting pretty close. Man Hawks book is gonna be GOOOOOD! lol

Ok this snippet is when Riley and Mercy FIRST get together in the beginning of the book! Ohhhhh its a hawt one! ;o)

“I’ll give you one thing,” he said, crouching opposite her as they circled each other. “You know how to move…kitty.”
Adrenaline shot through her, a hot, liquid fire. “Better than a jumped-up sheepdog anyway.” She didn’t even see it coming. One moment she was about to slash his face—okay, so she would’ve just scratched him, it wasn’t like this was a fight to the death—and the next, she was flat on her back with her wrists slammed to the earth, gripped in one strong fist.
“Ooomph.” All the air rushed out of her as Riley’s lower body crushed hers to the ground. The bastard was heavy, pure muscle over solid bone.
“Yield.” His nose was almost touching hers.
“You wish.” She smirked into chocolate-dark eyes. “Come closer.”
“So you can bite me?” A flash of teeth. “First you yield. Then I’ll come closer.”
“Not on your life.” If she yielded, she’d be acknowledging his dominance, at least for tonight.
“Then I guess I’ve have to make you.”
“Try it.” Smiling, she went for his throat and almost had him, when—using a move that was all sorts of illegal—he flipped her again so her front pressed into the leaf-laden ground, her wrists still locked in his iron grip and pinned above her head.
“Cheater.”
“So says the woman who tried to kick my balls into my throat,” he pointed out, even as he licked the salt off the skin of her neck in a lazy and highly provocative move.
“I’m going to kill you.” It was more hiss than sound. He bit her. In the soft, sensitive place between neck and shoulder. She felt her entire body shiver from the inside out at the blatant show of dominance.
“Stop it.” It came out husky, nothing like the rejection she wanted it to be. He took his mouth from her.
“I’ve pinned you.”
“That’s wolf shit. I’m a cat.”
“You’re still trapped under me.” He nuzzled at her throat. “And you smell all hot and wet and ready.” His voice was dropping, going wolf on her.
She found herself raising her body against him without realizing it, her bottom rubbing, enticing, inviting. “You tell anyone, I’ll carve out your heart.”

Oh dear…I think this one rates right up there with the first book in the Psy/Changling series!! This book was HOT TO TROT!

We met Dorian a few books back. His sister got tortured and murdered by Enrique, a member of the Psy council. So when Dorian is forced to watch over Ashaya and her son Keenan (aka K-man) after escaping her community tempers flair!

Ashaya lived her entire life trying to keep her son safe from the council. She rarely even seen the boy b/c he was kept caged up (but safe) in exchange for Ashaya’s scientific work. She sets it up to where Dorian and the other cats get K-man out and away. Now safe in the arms of the cats both Ashaya and K-man are on the run from being sought out…not only by the council but Ashayas CrAzEd twin sister. Who will reach them first…the council? Her twin? Or Dorian and his lust?

Ashaya wants to expose the Psy council for the murderers they really are…so you would think her and Dorian would get along right?!?! WRONG! Dorian sees Ashaya as the cold Psy that killed his sister and Ashaya sees Dorian as a treat to her hold on Silence. In the last book Ashaya and Dorian met briefly when she helped get Talin her kids back. With a gun to her head Dorian felt the rage inside…yet couldn’t pull the trigger. This pull back and forth continues into Hostage of Pleasure. The cat in Dorian wants to play yet the man wants to KILL! EPP! So needless to say, there are a ton of fights in which both parties end up getting hurt. Dorian makes it his personal promise to not only break this cold woman before him but to bring her to his bed!

This book was great! Its was very real (besides the changelings etc lol). Dealing with the loss of a loved one can hit you big time…and boy do you feel for Dorian in this book! I thought it was super touching how Ashaya was able to reach out of her Psy shell to help him grieve and get over his hurt. In the same aspect Dorian was able to get to Ashayas level of thought about her twin seeking out to kill her. See her sister isn’t right in the noggin ;o) so it didn’t feel right just thinking they would take her out. Ashaya wanted more than anything to keep her sister safe but at the same time she had to worry about her son K-man.

Another cool thing I didn’t really mention in the last review was how much the larger story was growing. The Psy community is slowly breaking down and everyone is seeing small fractures…places to take advantage. We meet this new secretive human alliance that goes to attack Ashaya! We don’t find out too much but we know they wanted to keep her alive…for what…idk?!?! So that’s pretty exciting to see new people coming into the picture! Will the “weak” humans come out on top of this all out war??? Who knows!

He sat back on his haunches and watched her get back up into a sitting position. Her eyes went to his handiwork. “You’ve had some training.”

He bit back the urge to snarl at her frigid tone. The ice of it was a fist around his cock, arousing him against all reason, all sense. “First aid.” He shrugged, stuffed everything back into her pack, then paused. “You need anything from here?”

“Everything.”

“Tough.” He did up the straps. “I have to carry you as it is—”

“I can—”

“Yeah, you can crawl,” he snapped, “but that isn’t going to get me home in time to catch a few z’s.” And nowhere near fast enough to contain the leopard’s enraged attempts at exploding from within his skin. He couldn’t shift, had never been able to. But the cat didn’t know it was trapped. Right now, it wasn’t even sure if it wanted to savage Ashaya or f**k her. “Since I can’t dump you here, I might as well get rid of you as fast as I can.”

It was a deliberate attempt to provoke, but her face, a face that had haunted his dreams for two months, remained expressionless. Two damn months, he thought again. Endless nights of waking in a sweat, frustrated and hard. And angry, so angry. The sole thing that had kept him from going out and hunting her down had been an enraged defiance against a sexual pull that had begun to turn into an obsession.

Now here she sat, looking up at him with those eyes that were the wrong color—and that blatant lie only stoked his fury.

“You have a lot of antipathy toward me.”

No, what he had was a bad case of lust. But he wasn’t an animal in rut. And his one stupid, drunken mistake in college aside, he didn’t sleep with women who might just freeze his balls off in the night. “I’m going to stash your pack up in the branches. The lynx won’t come near it now that it has my scent on it. Someone can grab it for you tomorrow.”

Ashaya didn’t argue, knowing she had nothing with which to bargain. “Another debt?” She’d recognized his voice at once as that of the sniper. After all, she’d been hearing it in her dreams for eight long weeks.

“Don’t worry. We’ll collect.” With those words, he shrugged into the pack and began climbing.

She couldn’t believe the way he moved. It was so smooth, it appeared effortless. He was ten times faster than she had been, a hundred times more graceful. If she’d had any doubts as to what he was, they would’ve been wiped away by that display. “Changeling,” she said as he jumped back down. “Cat.”

He raised an eyebrow, his eyes a pitiless blue so true—even in this darkness—that she wondered at its existence. “Meow.”

Something hidden sparked to life in her mind, and she found herself thinking that the sniper was beautiful. Darkness, she’d always cloaked him in darkness, but he was a golden god. “How did you know I was here?” Her breath came in pants as she managed to get to her feet, one hand braced against the tree trunk. Her palm landed on something sticky. Her own blood, she realized.

“I’m an F-Psy.” A mocking answer. “You’re going to have to ride on my back. Try not to stab me while you’re at it.” He came to her, turned.

The instant she put her hands on his shoulders, she froze. She hadn’t had this much close contact with another being for longer than she could remember. Even with Keenan, she’d kept her distance, aware that only Silent coldness would keep him safe. But there was no point of comparison between her weakness where Keenan was concerned and this changeling who seemed to despise her.

And yet who fascinated her on a level it was madness to even consider.

Next is Mercys book and I know she gets with a wolf so Im pretty pumped! Look for that review within the next month…I could seriously eat these books UP!

Yet ANOTHER wonderful book by NS!

In our fourth Psy/Changeling book we get Talin and Clay’s story. Talin and clay were childhood friends. Clay tried to protect Talin from everything bad that came her way but one day when things got to rough with her foster dad Clay went over the edge. Ripping and roaring into the man, Clay painted the walls (and Talin) with blood. After Clays arrest Talin basically went comatose. Fearing her best friend was a first for her and she decided to do the unthinkable…fake her death. Years later Clay is still haunted by the ‘ghost’ of his Tally. When things get to be too much Tally decides to re-enter Clays life…but will it have been too long to forgive? And will Tally ever be able to get over her fear of the only man that has ever stuck by her side?

If NS wrote the phone book I’d read it…this woman seriously rocks and in this book she doesn’t disappoint. Like I said Clay and Tally have a huge background that left both parties in shambles. So when they first meet again things are a bit awkward. It’s been about 20 some odd years since Tally seen Clay rip into her father and she still hold the fear deep inside her soul. I think the beauty of this story was a rekindling of lost love. Tally had to overcome her fear…she thought her fear came from his beast, but when she looked deep into herself she realized it was the fear of him leaving again that made her stay away all these years. For Clay…him AND his beast always put Tally above everything. He knew he’d never love again so when he had her back into his life he knew he’d never let her go again.

This posses a few problems…well Tally mentors foster kids for a company called Shine. Lately the kids have been coming up murdered and now the murderer is after Tally! With Clay at her side she knows things will get taken care of BUT what about her even deeper problem…Tally is dying! There are even SOME things a man can’t solve and Clay is beginning to see this. Which death will come first…Tallys stalker/killer or her disease?

Besides the banter between long lost love/friends I think the side characters were a biggy for me! You get to see Tally interact with the other women in the pack. She always seemed to be on guard with the Psy women but once her intentions where seen things got cleared up. It was warming to see her fitting (for once) into a family that accepted her for who/what she was. The other side character I fell for was her special foster boy that was kidnapped. It was a race for time trying to find the boy but when she did it was as if he was one of her own. Their relationship was a beautiful that mirrored what tally sought as a child. Love and respect. I really hope to hear more about him b/c I know he talked about moving up within the pack etc…so that would be cool!

Overall this book was amazing! NS always seems to give me what I need at that particular moment! I am soon picking up the 5th book b/c I just cant wait any longer! Lol happy reading gals!

I have GOT to say I totally fell in love with this book!

Colin is a shifter (wolf) and Emily is a human psychiatrist to supers. Emily can sense “Others”…Others are what they call their supernatural beings. Colin first meets Emily in her office one day b/c he needs her help on a case. He immediately is put off not only by her cold exterior but her ability to know what he is. Colin has had a horrible past relating to people finding out what he is so its his number one secret that she seems to know! Emily also has a past that’s a secret. She was once institutionalized for her “gift” AND she found her father after he committed suicide! So lets just say when both meet emotions flare! But being there is a rouge shifter out there killing innocents Emily and Colin are forced to remain civil. Can they do it…can they get past their history and look towards a future that could possibly put them together?

This book really reminded me of the Nalini Singh PSy/Changeling Series. The men are aggressive, protective and hot blooded! YUM! I loved how no matter what Colin always won with Emily. She tried and tried to resist her attraction but every time his lips touched hers she gave it her all! :o) They had a few different hot spots in this book which is GREAT! I hate when the author drags you out only to give it to you once! Im like HELLO…you’ve left me high and dry! ;op LMAO! But ya you wont be disappointed in the lovin’ department!

Another thing I loved was that I’ve noticed lately every storyline out there has supernatural’s being known in their world. It was nice to get back into where its all still unknown! There are few people who know but most are still in the dark. One person in particular that is still unaware is Colin’s partner Brooks. He’s left out of a lot of things that involve his case and even goes after Emily as being the killer! Colin knows something is out there he just doesn’t know what! I loved his character and am excited to know his book is next…I do believe he falls for a vamp! ;o)

The mystery in this story is just as awesome as the romance in this book. There is a killer running loose that ends up going after Emily! So of course Colin must protect her at all costs! When things start to get hot and heavy Colin ends up marking Emily as his mate! Well Emily has a problem with that that she must overcome! Not only are people trying to kill her but she must tame the best that is her new mate!

“Let go of my hand.”

“Look, if you aren’t here to discuss the case, then I want you to leave.”
“How do you do it?”
His words stopped her.
“How do you tell who is human and who isn’t?”
She heard the soft rustle of the sofa cushions as he rose.
“That’s a pretty interesting talent you’ve got there. And I’m just dying to know exactly how you do it.”
“I’m afraid you’re just going to have to live with your curiosity, Detective.”
Because she sure as hell wasn’t going to reveal her innermost secrets to a stranger. Yep, letting the guy inside had been a definite mistake.
“Hmmm.” His breath blew against the nape of her neck. Emily jumped, startled to find him so close to her. The guy hadn’t made a sound when he’d crossed the room.
“I’d like to see your hair down,” he muttered, and his fingers brushed against the bun she’d yet to unwind. She jerked away from him.
“And I’d like to see you leave. Guess which one of us is about to get her wish?”
His hard lips curved into a smile, a smile with a hint of real warmth.
“Tough lady, aren’t you?”
She’d had to be.
His smile slowly faded. “But trust me, I’m a hell of a lot tougher than you could ever dream of being.” And in a flash, he had her pinned against the wall. His strong, hard body pressed against her, his muscular thighs pushed between hers, shoving up her skirt, and his right hand locked around her wrists as he forced them against the wall over her head. Her breath left her body in a startled gasp.

Yall all know Im new-ish to reading so Im always happy to pick up a new author when someone recommends one. And luckily enough I have a friend that sends me books all the time (thanks Nicole ;o) and she sent me Jennifer Ashley's - The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie. This is the first book in series of the Mackenzie brothers and what a start it was!

Beth is a widow, but recently engaged to a creep of a guy named Lyndon Mather. He keeps whores on the side and is debt up to his ears...needless to say the money that Beth recently came into is looking pretty sweet to him. But one night at a play Beth meets Lord Ian Mackenzie. Shes heard of him being crazy so she very put off and pretty anxious when meeting him for the first time. Within a few hours Ian has told her that her fiance is nothing short of male scum, kissed her, and PROPOSED MARRIAGE!?!?! This throws Beth for a loop, but she decides to trust the odd man and leave Mather.

After saying no to the proposal and leaving the country Ian decides he will make her say yes and follows her! Needless to say the two find themselves in a bad situation and Beth is forced into marriage! As the two fall in love Ian's past rears its ugly head and Beth starts to ask herself...did Ian really kill the prostitutes hes accused of? Will love and truth concur all???

YAYAYAYAYAAAA! I really loved this book!

It had everything you asked for. A true love story. Your heart broke for Beth and her trying to find true love, and most of all your heart broke for Ian b/c he almost felt he couldnt or didnt know HOW to love b/c of his special circumstances! :*(

As soon as you thought you knew what happened and figured out the story something changed on you! lol I admit I was a bit confused when trying to figue out who the murderer was and I too was questioning if it couldve been Ian...that wouldnt have made me very happy but you know with books theres no telling where it will lead! ;o) There was murder, romance, and laughter all in this book and by the end I was in tears!!!

These books so far are just the greatest. Once again we are back in the world of the Changelings and the Psy. Psy are cold hearted and have no emotions. Changelings are very much the opposite. They feel every emotion like the true animals they are. Both are sworn enemies so when Vaughn the Changeling gets very curious about Faith the Psy things get difficult.

Faith is an F-Psy which means she predicts the future. You can only imagine how precious she is to her keepers. Faith grew up with even little touch than normal Psy. She has always lived alone out of the way of civilization. Vaughn ends up finding her sneaking out of her house and is immediately on HIGH ALERT thinking the worst. Vaughn follows Faith and when they are finally face to face he finds out Faith is seeking Sascha, the ex-Psy that escaped the clutches of her heritage that very same year. Turns out Faith is having visions of death and thinks she is loosing her mind. Vaughn is instantly protective of his Psy for some reason even he isn’t sure of. Noone will hurt her…but what happens when he finds out that even his touch is the one thing that her body can’t seem to handle?

Man I really enjoyed this story. One aspect that I really liked was the fact that its not that Faith didn’t WANT Vaughn to touch her (even though at first she didn’t) but it was the fact that he couldn’t b/c it was like sensory overload! She would black out! CRAZY! Vaughn was going crazy wanting to be with her but even more so when he figures out that his jaguar has mated with her. It was so sweet how he knew he had to ease into everything b/c he didn’t want to scare her off. If she didn’t accept his mating bond then he could never mate again. But things were so hard for Faith to understand the poor girl had barely even been touched as a baby let alone truly cared about. She lived on her own even as a child and the Psy just about let her visions rule her life. VERY sad.

I loved how Faith REALLY wanted to stay true to her people. She didn’t seek Sascha out to run away, no she sought her out to get her to fix herself. Faith knew that many F-Psy went crazy and she figured that with Saschas help she would be able to fix herself and remain with her people. THEN she met the dangerous Vaughn that awoke every emotion inside and outside of her body! Soon a few things were obvious…1- Why was Faith having the visions of a killer and how could they get them to stop and 2- Would the Psy let their number 1 source of income go as easily as they did Sascha? How could Faith stay with the Changelings?

I love how Vaughn was one of the most dangerous Changelings around yet Faith was able to tame him. They had such a great chemistry and no matter how hard Faith tried she couldn’t help but fall for the jaguar. Its always interesting to be in the Psy POV. Everything is through the eyes of a new born b/c its so different than the world they are used to. And when things start to get dirrrrty Faiths reactions are priceless! ;o)

'So I could be mated to someone who could choose not to be my mate?' A nightmare idea. Mating was a one-shot deal. The link usually involved a conscious decision at some point by the female, which made Vaughn and Faith's link very unusual. But no matter how it had come into being, once made, even death couldn't break it. No one mated twice. They might find a lover but the hole in them would never be fixed. Never. "I need to run."

But though he ran himself to exhaustion, his beast could find no comfort in an act that had always before meant freedom. Because he was chained, tied on the deepest level to a woman who just might destroy him.

This book was seriously the bee-knees and if you haven’t started this series yet you really should b/c I don’t see how I have lived without it! ;o)

...where are this author been all my life?!?! lol!!!! My Sugar Mamas over at Breezing Through told me I just had to try out this series and I am happy to say that THIS is why I love them dearly! lol This book was SO AMAZING! It was hawt & sexy yet at the same time very heart felt!

Psy are very cold and unfeeling people where as Changelings are aggressive and feel to their hearts content! So when the world is made up of these two species (and a few humans to add into the mix) things can get VERY interesting.

In this story you get thrown into a "Big Brother" type society that the Psy rule. Sascha is a Psy who is "special", her specialty...nothing! Or at least in the eyes of her people she is worth very little. Sascha isnt a very strong Psy and seems to not have any special abilities. The only ability she seems to have is one she keeps secret...Sacha is starting to FEEL! You can imagine when she gets thrown into the mix with Changeling pack leader Lucas things start to heat up. Lucas cant seem to understand why hes being able to see past her harsh exterior and see the passionate woman thats hiding within. But the problem is is that both the Changelings and the Psy have put these two together to spy on one another...

There have been murders among the Changeling community and Lucas suspects a Psy. Will Sacha help he only man whos been able to help her truly feel? And even so...will the Psy let one of their own people go???

Man Lucas is such a hottie in this book! At first he starts to go after Sascha just to ruffle her feathers but then he starts to see reactions from her that arent normal among her people. Better yet he starts to become intrigued by her! I love how he ends up making his mind and and decides she will be his! lol Sascha seems to have her own feelings for him under wraps and decides if she visits him in her dreams that she can get over the "crush". HERES where the fun begins...OMG I have read some hawt sex b4 but omg omg I was panting just as hard...if not HARDER than them! lol It was very animalistic at points and tender at others! The PERFECT balance!

I loved how Lucas and his pack are leopards. Ive never read about cats before and it was pretty interesting to see the differences. I love how he would always call Sascha kitten (I about purred everytime he did) and all his moves were oh-so catlike! lol Ive also never read about Psy before. Their society reminded me a lot of the book 1984 (One of my favs). It was very much Big Brother and they tried to get rid of any and all emotion AND privacy! I think what made it so interesting was because the two sides are POLAR OPPOSITES! So you have one side thats totally unfeeling and another thats just about OVER feeling! lol

The murdering part of the book was great! I found myself on the edge of my seat everytime Sascha went into the Psy-Net (like the"brain wave chat room" of the Psy). Its very easy to get caught there and the fact that they could melt her brain within seconds was nail biting! Sascha enevatably helps the Leopards find the missing girl and therefore she earns the trust of everyone! AND she gets to keep her guy! ;o)

Sascha just realized she’d attacked the alpha of DarkRiver. Too bad. He’d been acting like a complete Neanderthal. Meeting those eyes, which had gone more panther than human, she put her hands on her hips and tried to pretend the telekinetic effort [to push him] hadn’t worn her out.

“Still want to play?” It was a taunt she’d never have made before she’d started to spend so much time with changelings.

“Oh, yeah, kitten, I want to play.” Lucas moved towards her in that lighting-fast way of his, his emotions a mix of exhilaration and challenge.

She was ready. Using her remaining strength, she jumped backwards onto the table, the action almost catlike. Her Psy mind had watched the way the leopards moved and now it mimicked the beautifully smooth action. Lucas’s eyes widened as he found her halfway across the table. “You’ve been keeping secrets.”

“Poor baby,” she taunted.

He started to smile. “Come here.” – “Are you going to behave?” – “No.”

Her lips twitched. Feeling silly crouching on the table now that he was no longer chasing her, she jumped off to stand in front of him. His hand went to her neck again, holding her in a possessive grasp. Except this time, there was sensuality instead of anger in his touch. His kiss burned her though to her toes.

Ok...I LOVED this book...LOVED IT! I love Weres...idk Ive said it before: they are protective and aggressive! That mixed in with a very insecure woman makes for a very interesting storyline!

Vane and Bride met a few books back...their meeting was extremely brief but left Vane shaken to the soul. Since then Vane has had a hard life dealing with his old pack coming after his head and his (basically) comatose brother withering away. Vane comes along to find Bride again working in her jewelry shop crying due to a jackass boyfriend whom broke up with her. Vane has to go to her knowing shes hurt and the sparks start to fly from there. We get a SUPER HAWT sex scene in a dressing room and the two part their ways. Little did they know fate would bring them back together b/c they BOTH got marked with Vanes mating symbol!!! Can Vane convince Bride that his life is real? Will Bride accept Vane for who he really is? Or will Vane be forced to live a life full of loneliness and pain b/c he cant be with his destined mate?

You know I seriously liked this book. I felt like it had a lot of really great qualities that I look forward to in a book!

First off is that the story was believable...OK...NO their aren't any Weres out there (or if their are PLEASE FIND ME ;op) but the love story part was. Bride is a "chubby" (her words not mine) who doesnt know why this gorgeous man is after her. She is very insecure about her body and is even afraid to show the man she loves her true self. BUT Vane sees nothing but her! Its truly beautiful how Vane looks at Bride. He knows a healthy and hot woman when he sees one and hes not afraid to show her how much he appreciates and worships her body! ;o) Ive read on the internet where people didnt like Bride size 18 side...well I REALLY dont see a problem with it. If anything I think it makes the story more real. Not everyone is a size 2! Big, little, tall or short we all gotta have some lovin...right?!?!

Another thing I loved about the story is the family connection between the bears and the Weres. Vane and his brother are basically on the run from his old pack and are taken in by the bears and given a safe place to stay! Vanes brother was hurt by the Damions so he is a vegetable and is being looked after Aimee, one of the youngest bears. By the end I got really excited to see him come out of his stupor and DONT YOU KNOW that him and Aimee are gonna be mates! :o) That totally warmed my little heart!

I also loved the action. I mean COME ON what Dark Hunter book DOESNT have any action in it?!?! There is fighting against Damons, other Weres and even demons! OH AND Vanes parents are involved! That part was great! the back story has you totally interested in how his parents came to hating eachother and even Vane. You learn that another Were amongst them is his brother (and I really wish he got his own book and not short story *eye roll) and learn about all of Vanes powers while he fight everyone!!!

Speaking of parents, I loved that Brides father knew of the Weres...he is a vet and totally called Vane and his bro on being Weres! Not in front of Bride but still I really didnt see that one coming!

Ok so overall this book had everything and it would be a real shame if you missed out on it! SO...GO GET IT! :o)

Yikes was this book a whirl wind of craziness! I got SO excited (and very anxious) after reading Succubus Dreams that I had to jump right into Succubus Heat! And I mine as well tell you now this review contains ***SPOILERS***

In the latest Georgina Kincaid book you meet a darker Georgie at the beginning! She is super depressed by Seth and Maddie being together (btw its a few months after...like 4) and shes dating a hell bound physic (Dante from Succubus Dreams). Shes sleeping around and getting energy just about every night and she doesnt mind WHO knows! Btw at one point shes at a graduation party, gets drunk, and has sex wtih a guest in the bathroom! OH did I mention Seth totally sees it?!?!? Well he doesnt see them actually have sex but he sees them go in the house and he notices her "glow" afterwords. ok back on track...well Jerome is pissed b/c Georgie is bitchy so he sends her to "help" another demon in Canada. Georgie has to deal with some idiotic demon worshipers all the while Jerome ends up getting kidnapped!!! After realizing hes gone everyone has temporarily lost their abilities!! Georgie and her friends have to find Jerome before he ends up getting replaced!

Ok...so obviously we all see whats gonna happen. Seth ends up finding out that Georgie can have sex without the effects she was always so afraid of. AND it ends up happening!!! I REALLY enjoyed their romp in-between the sheets. It was slow and sensual...like Seth was savoring his moment he had LONG awaited for! :o) And I thought...Ill do a Snib Bit on their first time...ehhh...Ill do it on their second time in her office at the books store b/c it was HAWT!

Snib Bit~
Reaching out I took his hand and brought it to my collarbone. It was all he needed. He stepped closer and traced the lines of my neck, then moved down to my shoulder. He pushed the dresses strap down my arm and his fingers followed pulling it down revealing most of my breast. My nipple was already hard. Yesterday had been sweet and full of emotion. There was emotion here today but it was intermingled with raw passion and animal instinct. I stumbled and found my body against the wall as he continued caressing my breast. His hand moved down under my dress and then under my black lace thong panties, probing to see if I was ready. I was. I groaned when he slipped a finger in me. His mouth found mine bruising me with harsh kisses. Seth gripped my hips and turned me around so that I faced the wall. He shoved my skirt back up and tugged my panties halfway down my thighs. I bent over and extended my arms, using my hands to brace myself against the wall. He entered me, forceful and deep, with no buildup or teasing. Steadying his hands on my hips, he thrust to sate the need I'd seen in him earlier, the need I shared. I cried out each time he shoved into me, knowing I should be quiet in case someone else had come back into the store. But I couldnt be.

Ok so back on the road. It was hard for the two to stay away from each other but they tried. My issue was with Seth though. At one point he even asks Georgie if he can "see" her again!!! Idk...I know he loves her still b/c its SO apparent when they are near each other but I just couldnt shake the feeling that it was wrong...not b/c of Maddie but b/c I almost felt like thats the only reason he was back with her at times. After she got her abilities back he told her he was willing to try it all again..GEORGIE SAYS NO!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! I understand why...and I actually feel a bit better b/c it was her doing this time and not him but UGH it was crazy. Oh and he goes back to Maddie, doesnt tell her what he did with Georgie (we find out if he died at this point he would go to hell) and asks Maddie to effing MARRY HIM!?!?! Ugh wow!

Well one aspect I REALLY (also) loved was Roman came back. Someone kept leaving clues for Georgie and helping her out and I SO knew it would be him. He acts like maybe he is playfully saying maybe later he would want to kill her b/c she had a hand in his sisters death but I think we all know that wont happen. After he helps her find Jerome and defeat the "bad guy" (dont wanna give it away) hes allowed to stay and ends up rooming with Georgie. Here are my two predictions I think will happen on that end...either Roman and Georgie will be bff b/c they live together and maybe he still loves her but she ends up with Seth(I KNOW Seth and Maddie wont make it down the aisle) or Roman and Georgie get together?!?! I always liked Roman. He did love Georgie and if he wanted her dead she wouldve been. I felt hes been so misguided b/c what he is.

A few other things I liked about this book were...

1- I loved how the vamps got to go around during the day! lol It was so funny how they were wanting to go to the beach etc.

2- Dante was an idiot and made some bad decisions that left him loosing Georgie. I KINDA felt bad for him though...he loved Georgie and yet again is placed under the title of misguided.

3- There are times (for some reason) I want Georgie to be with Doug! lol

4- I loved how she had to do everything herself...change clothes, do her hair etc. And everyone was always telling her that her hair was frizzy! lol Except Seth- he thought she was still beautiful!

5- I think we all still have our fingers crossed for Carter and Georgie as well...I think him and Roman and my top guys for her... I love Seth but hes on my shit list right now! ;op

So ya this book...NO this entire series ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF! Go and buy the books they will not disappoint you!

OMG...OH....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I'm jumping right into this and let me tell you I'm speaking my mind and I'm 100% sure their will be ***SPOILERS*** out the ying yang!

Ok so here I go...first off this book was SO AMAZINGLY GOOOOOD! This book pulled on SO MANY different emotions I was going crazy. I will tell you I was talking with Ames and telling her I was having anxiety over this book! lol I did know what was going to happen before I read this book which made it SO MUCH HARDER to read...word to the wise...don't force your friend to tell you spoilers...omg b/c it leaves you wondering the entore time when stuff will happen and you keep asking more questions...and more questions...until you know everything. Never the less...I did have surprises come along.

Georgie has been having these odd dreams...shes in a kitchen washing dishes and looks back to see her DAUGHTER (she just feels/knows its her own flesh and blood daughter) sitting on the floor playing. After a few minutes she hears crying and goes to pick up her child. They hear a car door outside and go to meet...DADDY...but she never gets to see who the daddy actually is. AND when she wakes up from the dream shes drained from all life source, EVEN if she had sex just the night before! Whats happening is Nyx is coming into her dreams and draining her! After a while Georgie catches on to whats happening and knows she needs to find a resolution. She goes to a "physic" named Dante and he totally hits on her, but we find out hes not SO BAD and helps her along the way.

Ok so Seth and Georgie...
They are having so many problems...well lots of it has to do with her being a succubus and him being a writer! She cant have sex with Seth for fear of taking years off his life. And after an attempted mugging Seth is tempted to play with the odds. He PUSHES AND PUSHES Georgie to have sex with him but she just cant do it! After all she immortal and he isnt so why take time off of his life when he wont be around forever...he will. Georgies problem with Seth (besides the sexual ones) are that hes been breaking plans with her and standing her up continually. She understands that hes a writer BUT that doesnt mean she needs to fall in between the cracks! Well like I said he pushes her one night and she totally tells him NO! They have a huge fight and he leaves her apartment.

In comes Maddie...we met Maddie one book back. Seth went to pick her up b/c Doug (her bro) was in the hospital. I thought it was odd that Seth and Maddie were in a car for 4 hours not even knowing each other but nothing came of it then and so I let it go. LITTLE did I know that that....grrrr....MADDIE would come back to bite me in the butt! Ok so Georgie and Maddie are close friends and Georgie has been helping her "find herself", have more confidence, dress better etc. She even at one point goes to a date auction and Georgie makes Seth bid (and win) her b/c she felt so bad. Well when Seth leaves Georgies pissed off he goes and HOOKS UP WITH MADDIE!!! OMG! Maddie doesnt know Georgie and Seth are dating so she tells Georgie before she leaves town for Christmas. Seth goes to pick Georgie up for dinner...they have a huge blow out but Georgie says "Its ok I do it all the time we will get past this" only for Seth to say that he wants to BREAK UP and he likes Maddie. Where the hell did this come from!??! OMG I was SO HURT! He compares the two girls saying Maddie is like Georgie but "human" OMG!

So by the dang end of the book Maddie and Seth are together! I just dont get it. Its sad enough that Georgie basically made Maddie to where Seth could "see her" but he NEVER cared!!! He was with her 1 stinking night and BAM forget all the love I have for Georgie I want Maddie! UGH! I THINK he broke it off b/c in the end it will hurt Georgie b/c one day he will die, also they fight all the time from the strains of what she does and they cant really consummate their relationship! BUT the entire thing just made me want to throw up! :*(

Snib Bit~
"Whats the report Maddie? What adventurous things have you done?"
"Well theres the new clothes. I feel like...well, like a girl." I smiled and looked at the cars ahead of me.
"What have you done other than the shopping?"
"I signed up for judo class. Its the craziest thing I could think of."
"Anything else?"
"I started looking for my own place, started checking out flights to places I want to see, and I slept with Seth."
I nearly drove into the median. "What?" I said jerking the wheel back to my own lane. Maddie had her hands stretched out protectively. "Seth Mortensen?"
"Of course who else?" It was one of those things that was so ludicrous, I couldnt even fully react. It was like saying, "Hey did you notice the earth just exploded?"
"Explain"

...

"And we talked...and after a while...we stopped talking. And one thing led to another." She exhaled, like she still couldnt believe it herself.
No, no, no. This wasn't happening. This was a dream...a nightmare that Id hoped Id wake up from soon. "So, um, it was good?"
"Oh, yeah!" She gave a nervous giggle, "I cant believe Im even talking about this. But, yeah, Seth's a great lover. Very attentive."

Ok...RIGHT THERE I WANTED TO PUT MY FIST THROUGH A WALL!

A few other things...

1-Hugh stands up for Georgie and it melts my heart...he doesnt want Seth and her together b/c he fears for her to get hurt! :o)

2-I still want her to hook up with Carter.

3-They have a new Succubus that she has to mentor and the girl is a moron!

4-You learn about a love she had a long time ago for a priest named Andrew and it was super sad! I always love hearing about her past!

Ok so overall this book broke my damn little heart...SOMEONE REVIVE ME PLEASE! BUT even though it did that it was beautifully written and one of her best books! :o) Go get it or Ill put my fist through YOU! lol ;op
