Publice Display of Affection - Susan Donovan

Description~
Widow, Charlotte Tasker, spent a mind-blowing few hours with a hot stranger 13 years ago. Charlotte hasn't been as lucky since, as her late husband's laid-back sexuality didn't match her wilder urges. Still, raising two kids alone doesn't leave room for anything other than fantasies—until Charlotte realizes that her handsome new neighbor is the man from her past. For DEA agent Joe Bellacera, the timing of their unexpected reunion couldn't be worse. With a drug warlord's $1 million bounty on his head forcing him into hiding, he needs to keep a low profile, not get involved with the woman who nearly scalded his skin off with her lovemaking and then took his heart with her when she drove away. But when Joe decides fate shouldn't be ignored so easily, Charlotte doesn't stand a chance.

Lol Ive told you before and Ill tell you again...I LOVE THIS WOMAN! I could seriously be a walking billboard for SD's books! She always cracks me up and makes me hot under the collar!

13 years ago (on the way to pick up her soon-to-be fiance) Charlotte Tasker finds herself on the side of the road getting it on with a perfect stranger! ;o) She totally felt connected with him but knew the wild few hours she spent in those woods needed to be put behind her. Years later (after marriage and being widowed) Charlotte seems to have a new neighbor....and who should it turn out to be but none other than Mr. Wild Ride himself! Joe Cellacera works for the DEA and is hiding out from a drug warlord so when he sees Charlote again he knows it will be a recipe for trouble. Turns out Joe had been looking for a long time for Char...will he let her slip through his fingers again? Will Joes problems be too much for Char and her kids?

Omg adorable! This book is not only filled with hot hot lovin but heart wrenching scenes.

The kids are still dealing with their parents loss and so is Charlotte. Shes been without a hubby for about a years now and is struggling to keep the act up for not only her kids but for herself. She loved her husband but has never truly been able to keep Joe out of her mind. I love that SD didnt down play the hubby in the story. Like I said she loved him...where things perfect, no but things rarely are. You get a full feel for their relationship and even a peek into the kids relationship with their father and the growing one with Joe (once he enters the story).

Once Joe is accepted it becomes a big problem that he hasnt opened up and told Char his little problem with the druglords that are after him. And as you can expect once they do come after him the kids and Char get in the way of their plans. Joe shows his true feelings for Char and her kids and saves the day like every great hero does!

This book totally rocked my socks off! And just to give you a heads up there are some HOT HOT HOT scenes in here! Lets just say at one point Joe sees Char having a bit TOO much fun while the kids are away! WOOWEE! GO and get this stinking book!

I give this book a total of...

I really enjoyed this one too. There was some discussion when it first came out and some readers weren't happy with Charlotte for having sex with someone else when she was just about to get engaged, but it didn't bother me at all. I thought it was just her last 'kick at the can' so to speak.
